Finished another term... Yippee!!!

Tonight I finished my final exam for my Anatomy II class. I didn't do as well as I hoped but it was a very big exam. I did finish the class still with an A so I am happy!! I did good on both of my final papers too! Now I get two weeks off from school and can enjoy having one less thing on my list of things to do.

Unit 10 Post

We had such a busy weekend. I am so glad to be home though so I can spend the day working on my final papers and my final exam. I have a lot of work to get done today but once I finish up I will have a week off from school. I need it!

My daughter's birthday party turned out really nice. We spent the weekend at my brother-in-laws lake house that is at Rough River. We went boat riding all day yesterday and it was so hot! The kids had a blast riding on the boat and swimming in the river. The kids got to go tubing also. I thought my daughter would be scared of it but she wasn't. She just got right on the tube and took off. It is a hot dog tube and is made for children. They don't get thrown off as easily as the adult tubes do. I was very nervous on the boat watching her ride but she loved it.

We are going to dinner tonight with my grandparents and parents for Father's Day. I am sure the restaurants will all be crowded tonight for the special occasion.

Unit 9 Post

Looks like this term is coming to an end. It has been really stressful trying to keep up with my school work this term. It is much harder in the summer months because you want to be outdoors enjoying the weather rather than sitting inside on the computer. I am looking forward to turning in both of my final papers. Hopefully I do good on them. I know I sure have invested a lot of time and effort into both of my papers.

Tomorrow we are leaving for the lake for the weekend. I will have to catch up on my school work Sunday morning when we get home. Looks like that is what I will spend my Father's Day doing. I may have time to go out to lunch with my Dad, Husband, and Grandpa but that will be about it.

I really enjoyed doing my blog post. I enjoyed reading everyone else's responses also. I was kind of disappointed not to have more responses on my posts but that is OK. I probably won't continue my blog after this class. It is just another thing that I had on my list of things to do for the week.

Unit 8 Post

I had a great day today although I should have been home working on my 2 papers that I have due. I didn't get to work on my papers any this weekend. I let my daughter have a friend over last night. We went to visit my Granny today and had lunch with her and then I took them to see the new Shrek movie. It was a very good movie! I love watching children's movies with my daughter. During the movie we had some kids several rows back throwing candy at people. I got hit on the shoulder by whatever they were throwing. The mother was sitting right next to her son while he was throwing candy throughout the theater. Someone finally complained and the kid quit throwing candy. Some parents just don't care how their children act!

I am looking forward to my daughter's birthday party this weekend. She is so excited. She has been counting down the days until her birthday for almost a month now. It is so funny how little things make children so happy. We should cherish every moment we have with them. One of my friends from work has a church member whose daughter is about to lose her battle with cancer. She is only 8 or 9 years old and has been fighting for about 2 years now. There is nothing else they can do for her now so the dream factory is sending them to Disney World. The doctors are only giving her a few weeks to live. Please keep there family in your prayers...

Unit 7 post

Wow!! I can't believe that we only have 3 more weeks of this term. It has flown by this time. School has kept me busy too! It is hard to find a balance between work, school, family, and fun time. And with the weather being so nice it is hard to find time to work on school work. I find myself up very late at night doing my work. It is working for me right now though so I can't complain. I do miss my sleep though. But I know it will be worth it when I have my degree!

School is out for the summer and now the fun begins. My daughter is in daycare while me and my husband work. They go on 3 field trips each week so they keep her busy and do fun things with her. She gets bored at home but it is hard to run and do things through the week. Her teeball season will be over in 2 more weeks. It is so much fun to watch them but it keeps us so busy through the week! My husband plays softball too so we watch his games too. I love spending time with my family at the ballpark!

We are planning my daughters 7th birthday party. My brother-in-law has a house at the lake and just bought a brand new boat. So we are going to have a big party at the lake for her. She is excited. They have a 4 bedroom lakehouse too that they built a few years ago so it will be fun to have all of our family and friends together.
